Founded in 1984, the Singapore Chefs Association has been relentless in our efforts to foster strong relationships amongst Culinary Professionals in Singapore. Being in a cosmopolitan city filled with multi-national and multi-cultural influences, SCA provides the ideal platform for culinarians from all over the globe to network and exchange ideas. With the introduction of technology and innovation, the culinary profession is constantly evolving and progressing.


Our Goals

  • Educating and nurturing Young Chefs
  • Promoting the Culinary Arts, disseminating information of the latest developments in the culinary arena such as new food trends and products
  • A platform for the Singapore culinarians to network and exchange with the industry's top chefs, suppliers, partners and over 700 chefs in the community
  • Organise various social and professional events where you members can meet and develop long-term fruitful relations

    Active Members are practicing chefs whose position are Chef-de-partie and above, and who are applying for the first time. 

    Subscription Fee of 12 months: $150.00

    Application Fee: $20 (waived)


    A grace period of ONE month is given for renewal for membership. Should a member fail to renew his/her membership by the end of the grace period, an Application fee of $20 will be charge for applying for the membership again thereafter. For such re-applicants, please select: Active Member.


    Approval of application for membership shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of SCA.

    Valid proof of professional employment or studies must be presented at the time of membership application.

    Your membership is personal and strictly non-transferrable. You must NOT allow, under any circumstances, any other person to use your membership in any way. Your membership may be suspended, should this be breached.

    Upon getting full-time employment, he / she must progress to become a Junior Member - below Chef-de-partie (First-time applicant) and the applicable category subscription fee will apply.


    Subscription Fee of 12 months – $50.00

    Category for Institute of Technical Education students only. Students from other schools, are to find their respective school's category to register. 


    Approval of application for membership shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of SCA.

    Valid proof of professional employment or studies must be presented at the time of membership application.
